The sound the 4 cylinders in the 2002 Mazda Protege 5. I can't believe this car only has 43,000 miles! (sorry for the lack of revving but it is mainly a sound file, and the fact that these cars were cold and its bad to rev cold)

I probably caused this problem, anyway trying to troubleshoot it without ripping the gearbox off the engine at this stage. This is filmed from on top of the engine around the middle, looking down the tunnel towards the left side of the car.
