Venue: Streets of Willow Springs Configuration: CW w/ bowl Class: Unlimited Official Time: 1:26.923 (1st lap) Results: 1. Gordon Jennings: 1:26.538 2. Andrew Kidd: 1:26.702 3. Sonny Watanasirisuk: 1:26.923 (me, so close!) Going into the competition, I backed out/ruined two turbo manifold outlet studs two session prior, which cost me 3-4psi of boost and possibly the win. Then again, if I took a couple corners a bit better... Oh well, that's racing for you. Despite the calamity, it still made for an exciting battle, with a real nail-biter of a finish between the three of us in the Unlimited class, only 0.4 seconds separated the whole field, with me bringing up the rear. Seriously, for that day, despite finishing last, it is nothing to be ashamed of, especially since it's my first time driving in the CW direction, first time on R-comp tires, and I went up against some very admirable competitors. However, one thing is clear: Andrew, Gordon, BRING ON ROUND 2! I am hungry for my revenge!!
